Academy of the State Customs Committee hosted a debate for the senior students of the Economics major within the program of the "Digital Economy" subject , according to the roadmap for the development of digitalization for the Fourth Industrial Revolution of our country.

The event aimed to contribute to the practical application of knowledge on digital economy. The head of the department Ph.D in Economics Elvin Alirzayev and the instructor Ph.D in Economics Maksud Gubadli made speeches and informed the students about the importance of the topic, the reforms and road maps carried out in this direction in our country.

In the debate, the participants analyzed the challenges and opportunities of the digital economy and its impact on the labor market, social networks, as well as the economy of developing countries from different aspects. The discussions were held on small-town labor market with automation, the price of "Free" social network, ⁠Case-type topics in the examples of developing countries in the digital market.

In tense and interesting debates, the participants made speeches from affirmative and negative points and made interesting arguments and showed real examples from the world experience on the topic.

The debate was a memorable experience for the students both in terms of increasing knowledge and developing personal skills.
